PRAYERS
Let us humbly offer these prayers and praises up to the Throne of Heaven,
in the words which Christ himself taught us:
Our Father,
which art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done;
in earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive them that trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation;
but deliver us from evil;
for thine is the kingdom,
the power and the glory,
for ever and ever. Amen.
May he guide us into the way of peace, give light to those who sit in
darkness and the shadow of death, and kindle in us the fire of his love. Amen.
